Twidlee
Most restaurants are open 24/7 but do not receive orders all the time. To meet the operational cost in the off-peak hours, the idea of Twidlee came into being. Twidlee offers subsidized food in the low demanding hours to meet the cost and make the food business more profitable.
CHALLENGES
Tight deadline
As the project business and market needs were to be met precisely, it was a tricky task to do within limited time. But our team of well-versed developers with their strong project management skills made it possible, meeting the set deadlines successfully.
Have to work with customer provided backend
Working with a customer provided backend for web or mobile application is indeed a challenging task. It took quite a lot of time to understand and then work on a backend provided by the client.
Infrastructure
To develop a cost effective infrastructure that could accommodate 50K users per minute at the time of launch was a taxing task to perform. Regardless of this, the Clustox development team was able to meet this requirement effectively.
Communication and collaboration
Staying in touch with the stakeholders through the project lifecycle consumed a lot of time but the effort put in was worthwhile. The programmers managed to bring about web and mobile applications that aptly met client demands.
RESULTS
A responsive web and hybrid mobile application named as Twidlee was brought about for restaurants to post deals and manage their operation. It also allows native android and iOS users to view and reserve subsidized food.
