The project facilitated the process of User Acceptance testing through a unified view of integrated logs. The usage of ESB logs enabled the company (confidential) to pinpoint issues in the enterprise within no time.

CHALLENGES

Like other development projects, this project posed several challenges to the developers working on it. The challenges included:

Keeping the design simple as well as the Architecture dynamic and robust.
Deployments in Closed confined environments of an Enterprise (firewalls and restrictions of IT security in a data center).
Keeping Backend agnostics of Frontend.
Keep the design dynamic to support any data source, User Authentication supports LDAP.

RESULTS

Helping UAT through ESB log offered extensive support to the software quality assurance engineers and customer support teams. By providing them an intelligent issue-finding interface, our project save almost 30% of the total waste and ensures a good ROI.

SOLUTIONS

The intelligent view built on ESB successfully counters all the challenges. The developed system gives the users a single point where the issues could be identified hence saving their time. The developers working on this project followed the latest architecture principles and used the event-driven streaming engines to get log feeds. The events were then converted to RESTful APIS. Another smart approach was to deploy REACT JS at the front end to keep frontend as thin as possible.
